Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy medicine. The hands of a practitioner are placed on a fully clothed person who reclines comfortably. A gentle shift toward relaxation unfolds, breathing becomes slower, tension begins releasing. Reiki helps return balance on every level, and has helped people with a variety of ailments ranging from chronic pain, depression, anxiety, & fatigue syndromes.  It is also helpful for those undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments (lessening the severity of  side effects). It is one of the few holistic treatments recommended by the American Cancer Society. People in good health also use Reiki to manage stress and strengthen well-being.
